We are currently gauging interest in a variety of additional group and individual study sessions. Please call or to join our waiting list for an invitation to one of our upcoming programs:
Ensemble Performance
A great way to supplement your own practice and private lessons, build confidence, and interact musically with others! Our instructors create a fun, relaxed performance environment for you to learn and perform contemporary music in small group settings.
Rock Band
Students are exposed to everything they need to know about live music performance and then some! Learn equipment setup and breakdown, sound check, troubleshoot problems, do's and don'ts of playing on stage, learn how to listen to others playing around you, and of course participate in the all-important jam session. It doesn't matter if you are just starting out or have a lot of experience with your instrument; these classes provide lots of fun, musical inspiration in a team environment.
Schmeeds Music Tots
Developmentally-specific music classes for kids from newborn to age seven. The Schmeeds Music Tots program is based on research demonstrating the benefits of music at each stage of a child's development with activities to stimulate the mind and body.
Suzuki Method
Developed more than fifty years ago by Japanese violinist Shinichi Suzuki, its mission is to create better human beings through musical enrichment, discipline, and patience; deepening their relationships with parents, and giving them a way to confidently express themselves. Parents are closely involved in the child's musical learning by attending weekly lessons and serving as "home teachers" between formal sessions of both violin and piano.
Schmeeds Music offers private, one-on-one, weekly instruction for most instruments and vocals. Specific areas of study include an appropriate mix of music theory, technique, and performance, based on each student's individual level of skill and comfort.
Lessons are billed monthly at the rate of $60.00 per hour and $32 per half hour.
